Speaking | Conference workshops, network meetings, and community collaborative sessionsIntroductory and skill-based racial equity sessions

Conferences and other meetings are a way to offer a brief introduction to racial equity as an organizational practice. In my experience, it can take an organization up to three (sometimes more) introductory experiences with a facilitator and an approach before they are ready to commit. While conference (or network sessions) are insufficient for doing a deep dive on race or race equity, they can provide staff with the space to explore the concepts and ask good questions.

A conference session engagement with me includes agenda planning, materials preparation, virtual facilitation, and a post-meeting session follow-up.

My most frequently requested sessions include:

Racial Equity in Practice — For Human Resource Professionals

Race in the Workplace — Strategies for Building Equity-Centered Work

Communicating About Race Effectively — Strategies for Disaggregating Data

Services include

Agenda Creation
